To start we conducted comprehensive keyword research within the fibre optic industry to find the ideal terms for organic and paid search campaigns. We looked at current rankings as well as completing a comprehensive competitor review to better understand the current search landscape.
By undergoing this industry keyword research, we were able to define a shortlist of focus terms that we would optimise the site for and used this to scale the reach and progression of the campaign.
We provided monthly reporting to allow us to monitor the progression of the campaign using tools such as Ahref, Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Using the data collected each month, we then created a comprehensive strategy for the month ahead. Alongside marketing, we provided Alker with managed hosting, this allowed us to keep the site fully updated, alongside regimented SEO audits to ensure the SEO & PPC goals were realised.
Using the broad keyword research we had conducted, we organised a PPC Google Search Campaign. We utilised multiple ad groups to ensure the campaign was structured correctly and to allow us to boost any areas that needed an extra push.
With in-depth research into fibre optics providers and the latest advertisements in the industry, we created appealing and topical ads to improve the campaign’s quality score and overall CTR.
We also made sure that all available and appropriate ad extensions, USP and callouts were in place to increase engagement rates.
